How do you count chairs?

A chair is a bookable calendar: a stylist or a chair that takes bookings. Part-timers count the same as full-timers, one calendar each. Starter includes 2 calendars, and each extra calendar is $15 a month +GST. There is no other per-staff charge, and staff logins for the front desk or the owner are free.

What does Starter leave out?

Starter runs one booking type, chosen when you sign up. For a salon that is appointments. It does not include the till, QR ordering, kitchen screens or functions and events. Those come with Solo and the plans above it.

Starter includes 100 SMS a month for confirmations and reminders. Past that, each SMS is $0.15 +GST. Email confirmations and reminders are included.

How does the 20% offer work?

Join by 31 January 2027 and you pay 20% less for your first 12 months. On Starter that is $31 a month instead of $39, and $12 instead of $15 for each extra calendar. After 12 months you pay the published price. The offer covers the plan price and extra calendars. It does not cover SMS past your allowance or card processing fees.

How do I switch from my current system?

There is no migration fee and no setup fee. Export your client list from your current system, for example a Fresha export or a spreadsheet, and we import it with you. A dry run shows the result before anything changes.

Timely charges per bookable staff member and Fresha per bookable team member, so their columns multiply. At one chair Fresha Team costs less than Starter; from two chairs it costs more. Fresha also sells a one-calendar Independent plan at $44.95. Square Appointments charges per location, so its column stays flat.

No marketplace, no new-client fee

Fresha has a consumer marketplace. When a new client books you through it, Fresha takes a new-client fee of 20% of the booking, minimum A$8. Returning clients and bookings through your direct link carry no fee.
