- Unlimited staff logins with roles
- Owner, manager, front desk, bookkeeper and read-only. The owner invites each person by email, on every plan.
- PINs for the till, links for the phone
- Staff sign in to the till and paired devices with a PIN, or with a passwordless link sent by SMS or email.
- Rosters that drive availability
- The roster records who works when, and guests are offered times only when someone is rostered on.
- The staff app on any phone
- Staff add the web app to a phone’s home screen, and every screen updates live.
Hours and money
- Clock in and out with breaks
- A second clock-in on the same shift is refused, and timesheets use the minutes actually worked ahead of the roster.
- Tips per person, pooled or by hours
- Tips recorded at the till are shared among staff under the policy you set.
- Commission on money actually taken
- Commission counts only payments actually taken, so an unpaid booking earns none.
- Closed periods stay closed
- Close a period and it stays closed, so opening it again next year gives you the same figures.
- A till drawer per shift
- Cash drawers run behind a staff PIN. The Z-report is checked twice at close, and any variance is recorded.

BookMyVenue is not payroll
Payroll
It calculates what you owe. It does not move money to your staff. You pay wages through your own payroll, from the timesheets and payout batches it produces.
