Fresha fees in Australia
Taken from Fresha's own published pricing on 14 August 2026 and linked to it, so you can check every figure yourself. Then run it through the calculator to see the annual number.
We could not source a Fresha rate, so we have not printed one
We could not source an Australian payment-processing rate from Fresha's own published pricing on 14 August 2026. fresha.com/for-business/pricing returns a 404; the pricing page that does load renders no crawlable rate and describes the software charge as per bookable team member; support.fresha.com redirects to the marketing site. Rather than print a number we cannot stand behind, we have left Fresha's rate blank. Ask Fresha for their current Australian processing rate in writing, then enter it in the calculator's custom-rate field, the calculator will compare it against every other provider on this page.
That is an unsatisfying answer and we would rather give you a number. But the alternative - repeating a figure from a blog post or a three-year-old forum thread and presenting it as Fresha's current Australian price - is how most “fresha fees” pages are written, and it is how business owners end up making decisions on numbers that were never true.
What is published
Fresha's pricing page describes the software charge as being levied per bookable team member. No Australian dollar amount and no payment-processing percentage could be verified on the date checked.
How to get the real number in two minutes
- Open your most recent Fresha statement or payout summary.
- Find total fees charged and total card turnover for the same period.
- Divide fees by turnover and multiply by 100. That is your true effective rate, including anything that is not in the headline number.
- Put that figure into the custom rate field in the calculator. It will price it against Square, Zeller, Tyro and Stripe on their published rates.
That effective-rate calculation is worth doing whoever you are with. Headline rates and what actually leaves your account are frequently different numbers.

Compare it against the others
A rate on its own tells you very little. What matters is what it comes to across a year of your actual turnover, at your actual average ticket, with your actual mix of in-person and online.
- Run your numbers through the calculator - it prices every provider on this list side by side
- What it comes to in your trade - a pub, a salon and a clinic costed side by side
Once you know the number, the next question is what you do about it
BookMyVenue is booking, ordering and POS software with published pricing and zero commission on every booking. It does not replace your payment provider and it does not change your processing rate - but it does mean the software sitting on top of those payments costs a flat monthly fee instead of a slice of every sale.
