Quandoo is closing. Your bookings need somewhere to go.
Quandoo's own site confirms the platform runs until 30 September 2026. If your venue takes bookings through it, you need a replacement before then. We migrate you free, and most venues are live in about a week.

What actually has to happen before 30 September
A booking platform closing is not just a software swap. Four things need moving, and the last one is the one venues forget until a diner complains.
Your guest list
Years of names, phone numbers and visit history. Export it from Quandoo before the platform goes offline — once it is gone, it is gone. We import it for you, free, and it stays yours to export again any time.
Your future bookings
Every reservation already in the diary past September, including Christmas functions. These move across so nobody arrives to a venue with no record of them.
Your floor plan and services
Tables, sections, sittings, turn times and booking rules. We rebuild these from your existing setup so your team recognises the diary on day one.
Every link that points at Quandoo
Your website's book button, your Google Business Profile reservation link, Facebook and Instagram. Miss one and diners hit a dead page. We repoint all of them as part of the migration.
Worth knowing before you pick the next one
Quandoo was a marketplace: it charged per cover and owned the diner relationship. Not every replacement is different, so it is worth checking two things about whoever you move to.
Does it charge per booking?
Marketplace platforms take a fee for every cover, including regulars who would have rung you anyway. We charge one flat monthly subscription and 0% commission. Your regulars cost you nothing.
Will it publish a price?
Most Australian booking platforms will not. You fill in a demo form and wait for a quote, which means the number depends on what they think you will pay. Ours are on the site: $79, $149, $299.
BookMyVenue is not affiliated with Quandoo. The closure date above is taken from Quandoo's own website as at 1 August 2026; check their notice for the current position before making a decision.
Questions venues are asking
When exactly does Quandoo close?
Quandoo's own website states the platform remains available until 30 September 2026, as part of a planned, phased closure. If you take bookings through it, you need another system before that date.
Can I move my existing bookings and guest list across?
Yes, and it is free. Guest database, upcoming bookings, floor plan and service times all come across. You retype nothing. We can run both systems in parallel until you are comfortable.
How long does switching take?
About a week for most venues. We build your floor plan and services before go-live, and we are on the phone through your first busy service rather than in a ticket queue.
Will I still pay commission per booking?
No. One flat monthly subscription, unlimited bookings, 0% commission. We do not run a consumer marketplace, so we never compete with your venue for your own diners.
What happens to my Google and Facebook booking links?
We repoint them. Google Business Profile reservation link, Facebook and Instagram booking buttons and your website widget all switch to the new form as part of the migration.
What if I leave it until September?
You can still move, but the risk is your guest export. Once a platform shuts down, that data is not recoverable. Export your guest list now even if you have not decided where you are going.
Get moved well before the deadline.
Twenty minutes on a call, your floor plan on screen, and a clear plan for the four things that have to move. No obligation and no lock-in if you switch.
